i'm not the only one who's lost in this apartment
a half empty leather bag on the back of a chair
a nondescript mess of scraps fallen to the floor
hiding in the dark from where i sit
barely visible.
it reminds me of a person i used to be
someone who used to live here
now an unwanted tenant.
